RIP Software Wins FESPA Digital Print Award

Ergosoft has received three Fespa Digital Print Awards during the FESPA 2007 exhibition in Berlin (Germany) .

With a different raster algorithm, the Ergosoft RIP software user can use the speed advantage of the printer. Depending upon requirements, the user can choose between stochastic for fast production, or smooth diffusion, which is suitable for fine art printing, said Ergosoft. The RIP software was presented at FESPA 2007 with Mimaki's new JV33 solvent printer.

The Piezo printer is available in widths of 130cm and 160cm and Its new print head increases the printing speed by up to 30 per cent, it is claimed.

Unlike the conventional print head of the JV 3 series, with four times 360 nozzles, the new Mimaki JV33 has only one high-speed print head but with a total of 1,440 nozzles.

An additional heating system reduces the drying time for the media.
