The north Wales magazine and catalogue printer’s kit includes a 32pp Goss Sunday 4000, two 16pp Goss M600-D machines and a Heidelberg M600-B 5-unit web offset presses.
Joint administrator Paul Flint of accountant KPMG’s Manchester office said: “Considerable interest has been received in respect of the assets of Graphoprint.”
He said that the “appropriate method of sale” would be through a “private treaty” for the presses, and an auction in September for the remaining kit. King Sturge Plant & Machinery is handling the sale.
Flint, along with joint administrators Brian Green and David Costley-Wood, were called in at the printer on 15 June (PrintWeek, 21 June 2007).
All but 12 of Graphoprint’s 192 staff were subsequently made redundant. The job losses were at both the Deeside plant in north Wales and at an office in Milton Keynes.
