Rockingham Box, the Kettering-based rigid and folding carton packaging manufacturer, has gone into administration.
Geoffrey Rowley and Nicholas O'Reilly of financial services group Vantis have been appointed as administrators, but were unavailable for comment at the time of writing.
The company reported a turnover of £4m in 2005, the last period for which information is available, down 22% on the previous year. It also recorded a pre-tax loss of £240,000, compared with £491,000 in 2004.
In 2005, it cut its workforce by a fifth, to 97 staff.
The company was previously called Seddon Packaging and Print, but changed its name in March 2007 following a management buyout by managing director Geoff Grant and colleague Keith Robinson.
Rockingham Box produces a range of rigid and folding carton boxes, jigsaws and also offers printing and contract packing services.
