Pregis has launched a new space-saving, portable, inflatable packaging system.
The table-top AirSpeed Smart, which can be installed in compact work spaces and weighs 26lbs, produces clear, inflatable air pillow cushions.
The cushions, used as an alternative to loose fill, paper, foam and bubble packaging, provides maximum protection while reducing material and shipping costs, Pregis' vice president of product development Tom Wetsch says.
"The AirSpeed Smart is amazingly simple to use and provides the high-performance, cost-effective results that packaging operations look for today," Wetsch says.
"Providing a whole new standard of reliability, the system is engineered for durability and minimal maintenance and is suitable for a variety of packaging applications."
