Ampac Packaging has bought German company Floeter Flexible Packaging Group for an undisclosed sum.
Floeter specialises in stand-up pouch converting and is known for its best-in-class retort pouch-making capability, Ampac says.
With the addition of Floeter, Ampac now operates 14 manufacturing centres in North America, Europe and Asia.
The privately-held company has annual revenues in excess of $300m.
