The World Association of Newspapers (WAN) is planning to bring print and digital newspapers together with back-to-back conferences this October.
WAN will hold its World Digital Publishing Conference & Expo and its World Editor and Marketeer Conference & Expo together for the first time in Amsterdam.
It hopes to give newspaper executives the opportunity to explore best practices on a wide range of newspaper operations at a single venue.
The World Digital Publishing Conference will feature an array of strategies for digital content, advertising, mobile opportunities, copyright and licensing.
The 10th Editor and Marketeer Conference will complement the digital talks by focusing on the positives of print.
Topics will include new print products and product launches, the free newspaper phenomenon, the future of newspaper marketing and promotion, and circulation strategies.
The conference will also include a keynote speech on the latest world press trends and how they can be exploited to gain circulation and advertising revenues.
The conferences and exhibitions will run on 17-19 October. Click here for full details.
