Pavilion lands digital print and kit contract with Norfolk police

Pavilion Print Management has won a five-year contract with the Norfolk Constabulary to provide printing and photocopying facilities at the headquarters in Wymondham.

Under the deal, Pavilion will spend over £250,000 on printing equipment from Datasharp in association with Sharp UK. The contract involves digital printing of police forms and training documentation plus the provision of 34 multifunctional devices to provide photocopying, printing and fax facilities.

Pavilion, which has a turnover of £4m and 26 employees, will base staff on site. The company already runs in-plants at Electrolux and the engineering site at Satchwell Control Systems in Slough.

Pavilion managing director David Platt said: "The growth in our in-plant business reflects the rising interest from clients to have on-site staff that can provide a quick turnaround of print and to help reduce and control operating costs.

"Pavilion has chosen machinery from Sharp because it provides the best combination of quality and service, to help us meet the demanding requirement of the police."

Pavilion was formed in 2000 and acquired Oxford-based Computer Press in mid-2005. Its clients include Express Dairies/Arla Foods and the Youth Hostels Association.
